FDC failed ?

hi,

TX pro m/b, Ami bios, PCchips,

M571-007-66_M571-H

I flash the bios , update with the newest bios V3.2 from PCchips,

But when i finished everything n reboot,
It show the date is updated,
but "FDC failed press F1 to resume"

I try to bootup using the bootdisk again,
but can't ?

Did you reset your BIOS to it's defaults settings after the update and check that the Floppy is enabled?

Hi!

If your serial and parallel ports are gone too, then you picked the wrong BIOS.

The M571 has undergone two major revisions, and each of the three generations needs its own BIOS. There are boards rev. 3.2a and older, v7.0 and up and the new M571LMR. Be careful to flash the right one.
