Looked for AGES and given up - help appreciated...

Is anyone able to point me towards a good comparison of current Ami & Award BIOSes so I can take these into account when choosing a motherboard for my current upgrade? (I assume there *are* differences between them, aren't there?)

Comparing the core Bios which AMI and Award ship, isn't actually a good method of comparision. The board manufacturers will modify the core to suit their needs (design philosophy). Many times they will add extra features. Sometimes, take them away.

Most boards that offer a plethora of overclocking features, tend to use the Award Bios.

The best bet is to pick the boards you’re interested in, then download the manuals for each of them from their respective websites and start reading the Bios Setup sections. Compare the difference.
