On the keyboard,I hear people say "hit the pause button".....I do not know what button it is.

It's usually the last button on the top row on the right. Says pause or break.
Is that what you meant?

On my keyboard, which is VERY old, it is the last key on the right of the top row of keys (where the "F" keys are). It is directly above the "Page Up" key.

Mine actually says "Pause" on it, and the front side of it says "Reset".

Note: The pause function only works in DOS or during the boot up process. Not in Windoze. Hitting the pause key will freeze all system activity, and hitting the [ENTER] key will un-pause.

Actually, it's the blue button. On spanish and french keyboards, it may be purple or red.
