Heh, that was quick. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Just an hour ago, I commented to Scott it would be cool to have such a forum as this. Allow me to describe...

This is a no-holds barred thinking forum... if you're thinking of doing or trying something, especially if it doesn't fit in a topical breakout, this is the forum for it. I don't think we'll limit it to just hardware - but whatever ideas anyone has, go ahead and post.

Here are some quick examples:
- Site ideas
- Idea for a possible hardware or software hack
- Things that could be improved to make something better... and that something could be just about anything.

Venturing too far outside the computing world might bring on a lock, but other than that, this is a free-for-all idea forum.

If you've got an idea, post away. Nothing is too small or too large.

Also, if you're like me, you might have a big decision to make in your life (buying something that's important to you and having to choose between different options or products, choosing between several possible job opportunities, etc.), and several possible choices. Use this forum to get other intelligent opinions on which route you should take. Might give you some perspectives that you wouldn't have otherwise considered. And again, not limited to computers.

Actually, the idea just hit me yesterday... I thought it would be really cool to get people thinking together all in one place...

I am pondering on the thought of making a forum-message board for my website, what are your thoughts as to the dificulty of doing this and the amt. of work involved?
