Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : EFA Pegasus II(p5tx-atx) Jumper Settings???????
I'm a newbie to this so go easy. It's an older motherboard that is supposed to be able to run up to an AMD k-6 266 processor. Only problem is the manual only has jumper settings up to a k-6 233. I figured out the voltage is 3.3i/o so I set the jumpers for that...now what? I set it up as if it were a 233 and nothing happens when I power up. Help!!!!! I'm pulling my hair out. Thanks. C.C.

That chip requires a Bus Speed of 66 and a Multiplier of 4.0x. Does your MB book have a listing of Multiplier jumper settings?
I have the bus speed set for 66. The table for jumper settings includes settings for the cpu voltage select, cpu jumper setting's(could this possibly be what you mean by multiplier settings?), and special function jumpers(i.e. power switch, speaker connection, hdd led, and so on). EFA's homepage has this motherboard listed and it's specs say that it'll run a AMD k6 266, but nowhere do they have the jumper settings listed. I'm going to e-mail there tech support and try an find out more. Thanks for the response. Anymore suggestions or questions? Again, thanks. C.C.
