I've finally got around to trying out the new BeOS 5.0 Persional Edition today. Actually, I'm using it right now. I like the GUI interface, and the OS seems incredibly stable.
I'm posting my question here, instead of Operating Systems, since I'm actually posting about NetPositive. I have just upgraded it from the 2.2 version included in the download, to beta 3.0d3. My web based transfer speeds are nearly twice as fast, plus the html page rendering time has noticably decreased. It also has support for Javascript, which is a nice upgrade.
I thought I would drop a line about it, since many poeple have posted dislike for NetPostive Web browser. Even with 3.0d3 it's still nowhere near IE or NS, but it's improving rapidly. I haven't seen it officially posted on any site, except at Be 4.5's official update page, which many 5.0 users will never bother with.
