LCPL Twenty workingboy 09-24-1999, 08:10 AM Don't know about the Abit board but I've always heard good things about them. I have the Asus p3b-f board and really like it alot. Did have some cooling issue's though. Nothing a better heatsink/fan and BIOS update couldn't fix. The only difference that I can see with the Abit is the option of ultra/66 and that the Asus is usually more expensive. Hope this helps! _CH_Kowan 09-26-1999, 04:58 AM I have the Abit BE6. I had to use a Promise66 PCI card on my old board,Intel's SE440BX-2. Since I had the card anyway I could have went with the http://www.sharkyextreme.com/hardware/reviews/mainboards/soyo_6ba3/ but decided on the Abit. If you can, look at the BE6-2. More FSB choices. lance201 09-27-1999, 05:46 AM thanx, how can I identify a BE6-2??? LCPL Twenty SysOpt.com
