ABit BH-6 or Asus P2B.
those are my two limited choices.
Which is the better choice
ABit is 105 dollars
Asus is 135 dollars
going to overclock a Pentium II 350
which is easier to use.
I have used the Abit before but never the Asus.
going to install on MB:
Maxtor 8 gig HD
128 meg ram
DVD rom
3 1/2 floppy
viper770 ultra
for now(generic Yamaha sound card)
us robotics 56k win-modem
Mpact DVD decoder card
etc etc etc

If you are planning to overclock go with the ABIT. Also check out SOYO MOBO'S. SOYO.COM

The SOYO TEK SY-6BA-III is a good board for O/C and it is about $99.00 thru krex direct. I just got one this week. shipping isn't too bad. /forum/wink.gif

Best of luck with this project! I have the P-350 and the Abit bx6-2 myself. However, I found out too late that the 350 is the worst to try overclocking with. It's the processor, not the board. Mine doesn't even like turbo speed.
I can raise the fsb and yes, have the speed error control disabled, but I get all kinds of faults & errors, so I gave up. I hear most of the P-3 450's respond well.
Ygor ~ Did you raise the Vcore setting? It can be the key. 10% is conservative, 20% is OK with good cooling. Watch those temps.
If you're lucky, your BX6-2 monitors the internal CPU thermal diode. If not, you can add a capacitor and resistor and it will.

P2 350 @ 497 @ 2.2v Stable, 504 unstable buyt can fun for 5 minutes.
Made possible by a Soyo SY-6BA+III
- Ygor..I dont think any other processor can hit such a high FSB without lowering the Multiplyer. ..The PII 450 would be the absolute worst nightmare to clock, compared to the PII 350.
I was able to get my 350 to 433 stable at 1.9v
but once I hit 466, I needed 2.2 to stablize it
