I just obtained some Micronics C200 motherboards (see the 5 -star rating at http://www.sysopt.com/userreviews/products.cgi?mboards).

Upon attempting to install the drivers supplied with the board by the Diamond Multimedia I discovered that the AGP driver software would not install.

Diamond has been of little help in letting me know what I need to do to get the drivers required to make this board work properly.

Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?

Specifically my problem may be described as follows:

The AGP driver installation experiences a SEVERE ERROR every time I try to install the AGP drivers. The error message states that I need to be using WINDOWS 95 2.1 or higher.

What is odd is that I am actually using WINDOWS 95 OSR2.5 (4.00.950 C) when I receive this error.

I am using the driver installation CD included with the system board in the packaging.

Try using the new drivers, supposedly they fixed the installation problem. www.diamondmm.com/products/current/c200.asp (http://www.diamondmm.com/products/current/c200.asp)
