Time change

I live in So. Ca, and as we all know the hour change just occurred. I just hate this hour change. I can't go to sleep (early), and I hate waking up in the morning (even earlier)!

Just had to vent a little, sorry.

Losing an hour in an already short day really sucks.

I would suggest that as a possible reason why Hawaii, Arizona and parts of Illinois don't practice daylight savings, but then I can't picture employees ANYWHERE minding being late TOO much <g> ... Then again, the lost sleep could be a reason.

Why don't the just fall back every year and skip the spring forward? I mean, every twenty four years they'd hafta all skip a day on their calendars, but hey, would we really miss one day in Arizona?? (j/k!! apologies to Art Bell and all my friends in Tucson!!)

I heard the point of Daylight Savings was to allow farmers extra time to plant/harvest crops initially, but it morphed into a power conservation issue.
