is that it's a VX board.and he need to disable the edo dimm to enable the sdram dimms...

Ok that is done now and at boot up it only detect 16mb.......and it boot all the way to window but only with 16mb not 64mb..
all edo ram are remove,
Now why does he not detect the 64mb and only 16???
Is it because of window 95"b"
or because of the VX mobo that can not read Sdram with epron???

if it's hardware will it be ok if he change the mobo for a Super 7 mobo (vigor)??????

Thk you all

Can't understand a lot of this. But VX boards not recognising 64Mb SDRAM DIMMs was a common problem. Just as BX boards not recognising 256Mb SDRAM DIMMs is now.

Probably but check the spec's first - most spec/manuals are available on manufacturers web sites.
