i don't accept mail from any address associated with any of the company's that send my free promo CDs. I use the CDs for christmas decor, though.

My girl friends dad uses all the free cd's he gets for table mats to rest his cofeee's on.

the worst spammers i get are the ones on icq that target all the men showing xxx sites. Talking of which any site that has an "x" in its address is bad. They way they make more pop up if you close one is very annoying.

icq is tops on my list, i have two icq number that are of the first 1000 issued and i must get 20 messages a day from punk *** kids telling me to sign up for all-advantage or the other lame *** pay to surf sites. and i also get turkish and russian kids constantly scanning my trojan ports to try and steal my icq numbers because it is considered fashionable to have a low number in those starved for entertainment countries. at least 5 or 6 times a day i get added without my authorization and they try to send me lame *** trojans hidden and renamed as a picture file (90% are sub-seven)and the size is 371kb's, quite a big picture hey......anyway thats my rant

i got sent a file through icq calledd "cutey.exe" any ideas as to what it is?

re cutey.exe........it could be anything that has been renamed, the obvious advice is do not open it, i have had the subseven trojan sent to me as an avi, jpeg, mpeg and various other renamed files.....scan it of course and see what your antivirus software says......this isnt always safe because i have found what norton can't find mijenix will, what mijenix won't find TDS will, and i have found the cleaner the worst for identifying trojans, on numerous occasions norton and mijenix recognize a trojan and the cleaner,,,,,nothin.......your best bet is to delete, i am sure you wont be missing anything

i'm getting some anti-virus progs soon. but i ran the trojan cleaner from www.moosoft.com (http://www.moosoft.com) it found two trojans that i had cleaned straigght away since then much less activity one the Zonealarm front cheers.
