Hi guys.
I have a mouse conflict that keeps me out of windows if I use one mouse and does not recognize the other mouse. Should I delete the mouse.drv and let windows find the original one or what would you do?
Win95
P100 20MB RAM
Thanks
Dave

I have to admit that I had not thought about it. - On the otherhand - I'll try that and get back to you.! Had trouble last week with the comm ports / device manager/ yours might be a hold over of that type of problem. Try starting from Start/Settings/Control panel/Device Manager
Go from there!

Ok- I am feeling pretty good. I fixed a computer with DOS. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif That is a near first for me. i came in to this line of hobby after DOS's dominance. I XCOPY'ed a good mouse.drv from another win98 machine and overwrote the old one and it worked. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Yippie. Thanks Wiz.

No problems in device mgr and I unloaded all extra drivers that showed up in Safe Mode. I got this error before with another system and just switched mice (problem solved). I'd like to fix this one and get it running with their mouse.
Thanks
Dave
