I just got a new motherboard, an ATX FIC VB-601-V. I noticed that the ATX power connector coming from my power supply was to short to reach the connector on the board. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find an extension cable for a power connector (or if they even exist) or do I need a new power supply?

They exist but I don't remember where you can get them, sorry.

I did a search for you too, but wasn't able to find anything.

i had this probelm, and i cut all the cables, took some 16-gauge wire, spliced it in there with wire nuts, and it works fine for me...then again you can get another power supply with a longer cable for like 20 bucks. i have looked extensively and they make extensions only for at motherboards.

They have 6" ATX power cable extensions for $5.00. Look under products, DC Power Cables/Adapters.
