Gateway2000 Vivitron15. think it's 14.6 veiwable, but i don't remember.
I got it used for $110 about a year ago. And it's still better quality than most monitors I've seen. Nive vivid colors, clear images. I love it. I'm looking at a used Vivitron17, now tho <g>

one of the first generation NEC svga's
its 15" and made in 1988
worked much better after being adjusted witha hammer
Funny thing...I have a Gateway VX900 19" monitor and I usually use 2048x1536 resolution, even though it officially supports only 1600x1200.
I just wish I could get more than 60Hz refresh at 2048 from my vid card!
Veiwsonic GS771
Mitsubishi Diamond Pro
Both 17" and didn't pay a penny for either of them. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Viewsonic GS790 19"
got it about 3 months ago to replace the old Acer 15" I was using. I gotta say this one is alot easier on the eyes.
Haha, well the mitsu is *let me check the back*....8 years old. Wow, imagen how much that thing cost back then!!! Anyway the colour isn't exactly awe inspireing. It was a great catch when I got it from my dad's work 2 years ago, as it was replaceing a 14".
The veiwsonic I got from my dad's work as well....he found it wrapped up in some foam in a closet, and it was ok to bring it home. He doesn't work for them anymore though... but I'm still looking at it. Guilt? A bit.
The new company is investment bankers for tech startups....buying the company's, building, and going public....so I'm sure they'll have a nice monitor to lend sooner or later.
The CEO of the company that handles the IPO's has the most impressive monitor set up I've ever seen!!!!!! 2 20" LCD's, 5 18" LCD's, a pair of 17" LCD's, all of those are NEC's....and a 15" apple LCD. All on special racks around the back of his desk. You sit there and I swear I got a bit of a suntan! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
That's around $15000 of monitors....amazeing!

Gateway EV500 15" monitor. Don't know any specifics on it, but I usually run it at 1024x768. Seems to do okay.
