I have a chance to buy:
Intel type : AL440LX 66MHz bus speed M.B.
Intel Pentium II 233 W/MMX
96 Megs of SDRAM
for about $150.00
Worth it????
It's all used, but when it was taken out of the system it worked perfect.

id say buy it if you really and truly need it...its not that bad of a buy but id say to wait for newer and forthcoming processors to drop in prices before upgrading fully....
better to save now and buy a little better system....

Well, I have a nice system already. This one is going to be a toy for my son. I was going to build it myself. But was going to get some info from everyone before I bought it.

Nice toy! For that price it seems like a good deal, although I'm presuming you have all the other parts needed to make a pc work!! Regardless of previous usage or not, you're getting a solid deal there. Even better would be to see if you could buy the MB and RAM alone (knocking $50-$75 offmaybe), and save up a tiny bit more to get a K62-400. Then it might last another year or so on the games market...

NO, get a cheap Socket 7 mobo and a K6-2 300, with the 96mb of ram for $175.
