error message

please help,
I have a a 486 pentium II and each time I want to start it I see an error message(11.01) that says computer has lost setup. check battery and setup configuration.
The problem is new and just started after a lightening storm.
PLLLLLEEEASSE HEEEEEEELP!

Is it a 486 or a PII?

Go into the BIOS and 'Load Setup Defaults' save and reboot.

Try Susans fix first.
If it is still NoGood,you may have to clear CMOS . Check your motherboard manual for details. Usually requires removing a jumper for a couple seconds then reinstalling it.
Battery for CMOS may be dead also...
