I'm thinking about replacing my battle wounded BH6, it's been good for about a year and a half, but my latest venture with AGP ratios and Ultra TNT2's reduced its overclockability.

Check this: http://www.soyousa.com/sy6ba3.html

Any thoughts?

Hi. BBA. I am a newbie to this overclocking "thing". However, I just set up my P3 450 (purchase from step-thermodyanmic along with their PC133 128 DRAM)on soyo BA+3 you mentioned. The FSB options are very nice and easy to use, however, the AGP divider is 1 (for anything under 100 and 1.5 for anything over 100). So far I can only got 533 stable. 540 is not stable in Win98. I did up the voltage 2.5% (& eventually 10%) but it did not help. This is way below my expectation but I do not know what's wrong. I have a Maxtor 10.3 GB hard disk wonder this might be the problem. I used key board over-ride and booted into Win98 several times at 600 but could not re-start the darn thing at that speed.
Any help? O, I also had a Xentor32 ultra TNT2.

I also had a very good ATX case with 3 cooling fans so the case should not be the problem!

It looks like it's was made by an overclocker with all those FSB options, the auto PCI clock keeping it between 33 and 41 MHz, and the ajustable CPU core voltage, I think I'll be looking more into this one myself, just wish that core voltage ajustment went to 15% though.

Ya. LJE2. This is supposed to be the "overclocker's dream" because the PCI is kind of protected. But, what about the AGP?However, is anything other than 33 (means 35 to 41) bad for my Maxtor hard disk?
Thanks for any help.

41 MHz might be to high for your hard drive, (it could cause data on you hard drive to become corrupt) unfortunatly the only way to find out is to try it, so make sure you back everything up, before you give it a try.

Actually, I can't get my Maxtor UDMA 2/33 to work at anything above 33Mhz Pci, period!

Thats why I went WD and then SCSI!

You can run just about any hard disk fine at 83Mhz FSB if you disable UDMA, but you do lose some hard disk performance.
