A friend of mine offered these to me for a lump sum of $100.CDN.,is this good or what?

I got a few parts you might be interested in. I got an 8meg ATI AGP Rage Pro Turbo of what not. I have a 56K USR Robotics ISA modem, i tested it and I only connect at 31.2kbs on the new sunset internet. I have a SCSI card I used to use for my burner, I have 2 12meg 3dfx cards that go together for 3d games. I also have a Tyan dual Pentium 2/3 motherboard. And I have a PCI Monster sound card, that only works in windows 95/98. Your probably running 2000 I dont know if the cards works under 2k, it doesnt under NT. Other then that, thats about it.

Hmmm...let me get this straight.

He's offering to sell you this whole lot for $100Cdn?...

ATI video card
56 USR modem
SCSI card
2 voodoo2 12meggers
Tyan dual P2/P3 mobo
Monster sound card

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if that is indeed the case then you've got one helluva a great friend. That lot is definetly worth over $100CDN/$50US

The conversion rate is now 1.5

To get $1US, we've gotta fork over $1.5Cdn, definetly not lookin good for vacationers lookin' to go south for the summer. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

Thanks for letting me know the "correct" conversion factor for now Plucky http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Sounds like it might be a good year to take the family to canada for vacation! (as long as the conversion rate stays good!) (in my favor that is http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif)

Actually $100 Canadian would be around $66 US, give or take. $US x 1.5(roughly) = $Can.

Hey Buddman, you don't need BOTH V2s now do you? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
