Wow... did I get a beauty. I bought a MB on eBay for $21. It's called a "Marlin". It's made in Ireland. Of course, it came with no manual, so I'm lost. My only hope is to find someone familiar with this jewel and can lead me to some guidance. It's ATX only, but it only has simm banks. If you just want to help me pray, well that'll be appreciated too.

Sounds like an Intel board. Commonly made in Ireland, and I've heard that name Marlin before. Can you give me anything else to go on? I am assuming this is a socket 5/7 Pentium class board, but you never know. I'll continue to look for info on it, but I'd bet good money that you'll eventually find out it is an Intel made motherboard.

You guys were right. It's an Intel MB. They refer to it as "ML". I was able to download the manual. Looks like it'll take a 166 Pentium cpu. It's an ATX, but will only take simm. It'll make a good setup for a solitaire player and web shopper. My wife's gonna love it. Thanks gang.

Doh, I am slipping. I forgot sometimes the Advanced/ML "Marl" is sometimes referred to as the Marlin. Here I was looking up info on the "Marlin Spike" Dual Xeon board and wondering... Anyhow, the board you have is not too bad, for an Intel board. Slap that sucker in an ATX case and it should do quite well. If you need any specific info about it that you have not found yet, let me know. I've got reams of info on it now that I realize exactly what you've got.
