Have you guys seen this new mouse from Microsoft? It's pretty much the same thing as their Explorer - with the sensor and two side buttons - but is a little smaller and can be for right and left handed people. But I think I'm happy with my Explorer (it fits my big hand).
Sorry if this has been out for a few weeks and you guys already knew it. I was just cruising Microsofts site and came across it.
Just lettin ya know. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

It's a nice alternative for those that didn;t like the size of the original. I personally love it and wouldn't trade it for any other mouse.

Been using it for 3 weeks now, it is cool but there is a problem I never had with my old rodent.
I developed a bone spur on my wrist. To use this mouse (usb, it loves it there)I will have to use a wrist rest now.

I will have to check it out. I use my left hand for the mouse so the old one was out of the question.

Well, I ordered that mouse before I left for work, and when I came home, I had an e-mail saying it was on back order, and the new expected delivery date is April 26!!!
So now I'm bummed!

Well, now I'm using the mouse, and man is it ever cool! I hardly ever have to even move the mouse now! Just press the button.
Thanks for the tip Warthog

I love my regular Microsoft Intellimouse with Intellieye. I decided to get it cause my hand is so used to that old MS Mouse feel. I still have a couple marked "Mouse Port Compatible Mouse" and "MS Serial Mouse 1.0" and "Bus Mouse".

Yeah, my old MS intellimouse died a few weeks ago so I bought one. It took a little getting used to (I wasn't picking the mouse up high enough when I moved it) but now I love it. My room glows red when I turn it over too http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

I got mine for Xmas and i love it. I like how its oversized for us bigger-handed people. Its more comfortable--and i cannot live w/o those side buttons. GREAT for browsing!! When I was using the old style MS mouse (2.0) I developed a bone spur too. also from cracking my wrists, which were cramping up from double clicking on that mouse. I had to use a touch pad for a whlie becuase it hurt to double click. Then i got a logitech mouse that had a higher arch and that worked fine....and then I got this beauty. When the @home installers came over they were pretty amazed by it ;-)
