Hi all,

I have a new MB that counts the ram correctly when doing the ram count (32MB) but when in windows 98 it only shows 24 megs. Is there a setting in the bios to change this. It also happened on a win95 operating system with the same board.

Thanks, Joe

Have you got onboard video? If it shares system memory - Windows knows!!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

There is no problem. The video is "powered" by 8megs of your system memory.24 meg is whats allocated for system use. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Hi Mr. Computer

It does have onboard video. Is there any way to fix the problem or are 8megs of onboard video always going to take the 8Megs.

Thanks, Joe
