win. temp?

I have black ice and it works fine, I find a lot of Black ice files, and other stuff in my win temp folder, I have always understood you can dump win temp. ?? is this just stuff left over from install. ??

Usually that is the case unless you have installed something into the folder.

If you have not installed programs here simply delete them from the folder. These are usually placed here when you install a program with winzip or self extracting exe file. these are the files created to run the install.

If you are unsure check out each file before dumping it. Or place in a diffrent directory then restart the computer and run all the programs one at a time. From there if there are no problems delete the files.

Make sure you do this as soon as the computer has booted up though, sometimes files in the are necessary for the PC to complete installs. Reboot fist before, just to be on the safe side.
