hehe - Thats pretty funny.

Every canadian would be A LOT richer if our taxes weren't as high.. I'm in Saskatchewan, and my parents pay between $180,000 and $230,000 on taxes every year.

$180,000-$200,000 in taxes??
Is that per year or their lifetime??
I guess someone isnt hurtin for money!
I just did my taxes and getting a tidy refund from some RRSP's but it would take me about 50 years to pay the gov't $200,000 in taxes at my income level.
And yes...Ima Canuck, born, bred and breeding in Sask.... eh.
I rarely say eh, by the way.

Guess Who is the greatest Canadian band ever.
Is that a question or a statement?
Burton, Randy and the boys will be playing in Craven Sask. this summer!

Blue Rodeo is a close second.
Great music is judged by how long it stands the test of time.
Yup, Canada is simply #1, we should make the US our 14th province and call it Alluvit.

I just started paying our taxes here in Canada... A little more than one day's wages a week mysteriously disappears. What could they do if no one in the country filed their taxes one year? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

No one here in BC should pay tax to the provincial government anymore after their incredible screwup with these stupid Fast Cat Pacficat Ferries...

*************YTAY PRESS RELEASE**************

ATTENTION SHADOW

In 1949 Newfoundland became our 10th province, you stated we should make the U.S.A. our 14th province, somewhere along our history I have missed the addition of the other three provinces, would you be as so kind to name them for me http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

shadow

ok ok...so we have 13 AREAs, I figured they were all provinces. But I still think we should take over the US.

Hmmm . . . speaking as a Canadian for a moment (though I now live in the UK):

Haven't we had some trouble in the past hanging onto the provinces we've already got - let alone thinking about annexing new ones (especially one like the USA)? LOL http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

taxes.... sheesh.....more than 30% lost to taxes every paycheque.... but there are places that are worse in the world... I think there is.

But Canada does have its advantages!

So I guess we put up with the taxes.
