bx6 v.2 with p2 300mhz or celeron 433a

i'm buying a bx6 v.2 saturday i have a p2 300a that runs 338mhz now.with higher core voltage will this chip overclock and be stable.the highest i've ever been able to clock it was 374mhz without changing core volts. or should i stick with the celeron 433a 370 slotket.
the puter i question has:
12 gig quantum bigfoot
128sdram
16mg agp voodoo banshee

433 celery would rip that p2 apart
