Mntsnow 04-02-2000, 03:27 PM Brydon, With the newer Maxtor hard drives I personally have had no problems with overclocking. I will say some of the older Maxtor's had a hard time with the non standard buss speeds. one of the worst one's for overclocking for me was some older Conner hd's. The best so far was a cheap fujitsu ata33 harddrive that just purred along at a whopping 41mhz buss speed and only had dma disabled where as the Maxtor, Seagate and Western digitals all had to be dropped down to pio mode3 and still had some problems.
