IDE question

Greetings from AZ USA,
I have ordered a P2BF mainboard, a 10.gb eide hard drive and a cd-rom drive.
What is the most efficent way to connect these devices to the eide bus?
All advice, opinions greatly appreciated.

If those are the only two EIDE devices in the system, put the Hard drive on the primary controller as master, and the cd-rom on the secondary as master.

I have to agree with the man, the cd would even work as a secondary slave....
