abit bh6 lock up on start

i have an abit bh6 with a celeron 366a at start up it makes it to verifying dmi pool data...and locks up.i have tried everything.
different sdram,cpu,removed everything except hdd and vid card i cannot get it to go beyond DMI .
any help would be great

When you go to the Bios, do you have the CPU set at the correct speed? If not set everything to Auto.

Just curious, but how long do you wait when it ends up on the "Verifying DMI Pool"?

If you were mucking with the bios settings, then perhaps you should reset to the "bios defaults"...

remember... the bus runs at 66Mhz default but you can increase/decrease this while the default multiplier must be set at the 5.5 setting or the cpu will stop, period!

thanks for all the help...
there were interal problems with the motherboard.the vendor gladdly swapped it out.
