What's the model number of that MB, and..what's in your system? What are you running?

I've seen and heard of many problems regarding that chip. It runs hot.

The Cyrix 233 is not a 6x86 chip, it's a 6x86MX. The Cyrix specs for this chip are for 75Mhz bus. An alternative would be to drop it down to 66 Mhz and see if that helps. You won't see much difference in speed, but it may run better.

You can get the manual to download here: www.qdigrp.com/eng/manual_e.htm (http://www.qdigrp.com/eng/manual_e.htm)

My lack of respect for Cyrix 233 aside, try another cpu. Besides running hot, there were a lot of bad ones produced. Even an Intel 100s would be good to test! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
