bx faster than lx or atx faster than at ??

ive noticed a difference in speed using a at-format lx mother bord and a atx-format bx board with the same hd, memory, cpu and graphic card otherwise. the cpu is a celeron 333 runing at standard 66bus. my question is, is bx faster than lx or is it atx that makes it faster ? i guess it could also be the motherboard itself to, the at lx is a soyo 6kl and the bx atx is abit bh6.

BX motherboards are the successor to LX.
Hence BX motherboards are newer and faster - but not as fast as the most recent chipset known as the GX
