Can I run a w98-usb compatible scanner(epson 620u) on w95. I have two usb ports with upgrade. Usb utility says comp is ready. I dont mind driver installs.

It depends on what version of Win95 you have. The early versions don't have USB support. It needs to be at least Windows 95 OSR2 with USB supplement, or I believe you can download the USB update from Microsoft.
