I have a cheesy Jetway 5TXC motherboard. It uses the Intel TX Chipset. In the motherboard manual, there are jumper settings listed for Flash ROM voltage.
+12V (Intel,MXIC)
+5V (SST,Winbond)
That is what it say's to set it at in relation to the Flash ROM Brand. How can I find out what brand my Flash ROM is, and what is a Flash ROM? Is it refering to the Flash BIOS?

I would think that they are talking about the bios.
To check the manufacturer, carefully peel back the AMI or Award sticker off the top, you should see a number of markings, one of which will be the clue to the manufacturer.
To doublecheck the voltage it would be worth checking out the chip specs (possibly on their web site) in case the've changed.

That's what I thought it was. It's set at 12V and running fine. I can't overclock this board too high, and that's the only jumper I didn't mess with. I'm not going to touch it either. Don't wanna fry my BIOS. Thanks
