If so, what does one do to get around that? Cut the unused pin on the motherboard, or make a hole on the female end of the connector? JSky 02-02-1999, 10:23 AM If you are lucky enough to find IDE cables that have a plastic plug in the slot for the missing pin, it's easy to just push in all the way.
