I have just received a PB motherbaord and have no manual for it. It's an LPX style board that does 75 to at least 166MHZ. It's configured to 133 but I have a 75MHZ chip. Is there anything I can do, safely, to get the 75MHZ chip running or does anyone know where I can find a manual for this board. Packard Bell says they can't give me a manual. Help appreciated.

checkout this link www.powerleap.com and then
look for ray's packard bell page, click on it
and then go to the bottom of the page and click to get you to his home page. the whole
packard bell world is there. and don't forget
to bookmark powerleap while you're there,
because you maybe able get that board smoking with a k6-2 400 mhz upgrade. checkout
the discussion board at powerleap for user
feedback on upgrading that 75MHZ cpu too!

once you get to ray's home page, click on the
icon for PB info on the left, then look for his manuals selection.

hey, i guess you're first problem is how to deterrmine which mobo you have from PB. on
the same page as manuals you'll see mother-
board info, good ole ray has seven ways to
identify your particular mobo. good hunting
