I'm a Newbie so please don't take offense to my stupid questions. Does anyone know how to check what version of Direct X you have. I know you have to type in something in your RUN section of your Start Menu. I just don't know what it is.

Try "dxdiag" (no quotations). Unfortunately, the diagnostic utility isn't installed in some cases, so you might get an error.

cloudbill: Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information>Tools> Direct X Diagnostic Tool... There you go. Will list Direct X version.And alot of other good stuff
