ATI radeon eagle1 09-01-2001, 07:18 PM If it is an ATI card, you should be watching dvd movies perfectly! They make the cards with features that make movies flow really well.! It must be some other thing causing this! If you have a motherboard with a Via chipset, install the latest 4 in 1 drivers! Try to install the latest radeon drivers! And what dvd movie software are you using? I reccommend WinDVD and PowerDVD! Bsdboy 09-01-2001, 08:41 PM I have to disagree with Eagle on the software, for best results use ATI DVD Player 4.1.0.0 (http://support.ati.com/drivers/misc/dvd_4_1.html) and make sure you use ATI Multimedia Center 7.1 (http://support.ati.com/drivers/misc/mmc7_1_nodvd.html) also. Bsdboy eagle1 09-02-2001, 08:23 AM Oppsss. DUHHH!!! I forgot.!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Yes.. use Ati dvd software. I think they are base on the Cinemaster engine which it is quite good.! But since alot of people doesn't have Ati, WinDVD and PowerDVD will do well even on his card.! Bsdboy 09-02-2001, 09:45 AM I agree wit you Eagle WinDVD and PowerDVD are both very good for ATI and are the best for non ATI cards but the ATI player takes full advantage of ATI's hardware decoder.
