Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help (I saw a problem like this on the board a few months ago but I can't find it in the search) ?

I have just purchased a new Enlight case (250W), inserted the mobo and switched on - nothing, no fan, no whirring, no nothing.
Is there any cases that refuse to work if the setup is wrong, or do I have a dud case (memory and CPU are seated properly, ATX supply plugged in)?

Any help would be great....

Rich

Go back and check that the power cable is seated firmly in the motherboard slot. Is it the single cable for power or the one with two connectors? If two, then make sure you have them in the proper direction. I know it sounds silly, but make sure the switch on the back of the power supply is set to | instead of O. Double check all other cables while you are at it. Any luck? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Even if your RAM is not plugged in properly, you should gets lights and a beep message. Could be a dud power supply.

Also check for a mounting point shorting on the M/B.

Hehe I remember I didn't know my mobo was shorting out until I saw smoke coming out of it.

Now my COM ports don't work.
