hey, does anyone know where i can download a cd audio track-to-mp3 ripper that works under win2k and does not need a aspi manager (whatever that is) or anything else. I just want to download the program and rip my cd's.....thanks in advance....

Musicmatch http://www.musicmatch.com/ works in windows & in NT so it would probably work.

Try this, it says it'll work with 2000.

I use CDex 1.05 beta...
I think you can get it at MP3.com (freeware)
it encodes, rips, and decodes.
It also comes with 6+ different decoder engines to chose from..and its easy to use.

auraedge....
doesnt cdex require either bladeEnc or an aspi manager. If you could let me know exactly what i need to get cdex up and running, that would be great. I have tried everyone suggestions and then some yesterday and i could not get anything to work. i did download cdex and it says that i need wnaspi32.dll to run. I have also heard that the dll wont install unless you have aspi.exe and aspi32.exe....this is a pain and i just want to be able to encode my cds to mp3s in win2k.....any help is appreciated...
