I have this new (3 month old) ATI 64mb video card. It's a Rage Fury Maxx. It's driver is for windows 98 only. However my computer came with windows ME installed at the factory. I installed the card and kept on getting a dark screen. So I put back my Nvidia 8mb Vanta LT. I don't want the ATI card to collect dust or sell it. ( unless no solution can be found. ) Is there anything that I can do to modify my system? Does windows 2000 work with these 98 drivers for ATI cards? What about windows XP? I have a AMD Duron 800mhz,640mb memory. Also the mother board is a KZVM type. I'm new to this forum and computer lingo. So forgive any omissions I may of overlooked. Thanks again.

You can get ME drivers here (http://support.ati.com/products/pc/rage128pro/winme/ragefurymaxx_winme_drivers.html)

Hey thanks for tip. I have tried it in the past ( 3 months ago downloading the ME drivers from the ATI website.) However it did not work for me. But I'll try again. Maybe I did something wrong at that time. Again thanks.

Ok I'm back to where I was again before. I downloaded the ME driver from the ATI site. Nothing seems to happen. I will say this. Before I would have a black screen only. Now at least I have minimal graphics and I was even booted back to "safe-mode" after downloading the new driver thru the wizard shield. Then I got a banner with a sign saying that driver file was not working. I'm stuck on what to do now. Does anyone know the easiest solution besides taking the unit in for inspection somewhere? I really want to use this card for some reason on this machine. Any advice is gladly excepted. Thank you in advance.
