I have 2 systems and 1 decent Sony Trinitron monitor (other monitor too small). Any cost effective (inexpensive) way to use both systems with Sony, short of networking sysems, coupler of some sort? Thanks

If that Trinitron has an input selection button on the front, you can buy a cable that uses the BNC on the back and plug the second computer into that cable. Then you can switch between them. Of course this is nothing for a keyboard and mouse but it does work.
The little Linksys KVM (get the kit, not just the switch box) includes the cables, too!

yeah i can share my experiences with that thing, it is was well worth the $55 i spent on it. that thing even switch's between the 2 comps if you press ctrl a couple times really quickly. there is no noticable loss of singal and i have not had a single problem with it yet

I have that KVM and it works great! I use it to switch between Windows 2000 and Red Hat 7.1 and never have any problems. The small size was a plus for me too!!
