That message probably means u don't have the correct software to play a movie. ".mpg" usually means it's a movie or short clip. Try downloading Windows Media Player or Real Player 7

In Windows media player, go to view/options/formats and make sure there is a check in the box "movie files".

In which case it may be a virus. Junk it if in doubt.

Can someone please help me? For some reason when someones sends me a e-mail with a .mpg attachment, I keep getting a message saying it cant be opened. Whats the deal? Any help would be appreciated. ThanX!
