one has 32MB DDR RAM....and the other has 64MB DDR RAM.
that's really all there is to it!!

I don't think today's games are demanding enough to warrant 64MB of Video memory, but if you have the money, go for the 64. If you have anything else you need (pies, beer, hooker, or more pies) thn go for the 32MB version

are they the same speed?

I think the 32mb version is available in pci, too.

The speeds are different:

32DDR = 166MHz

64DDR = 183MHz

64DDR SE = 200MHz (will be out soon)

i'd imagine with a blorb (or if the factory cooling is sufficient) you could hit 183 with the 166 version

I've got my Radeon LE 32Mb DDR running at 180Mhz/180Mhz with a Blue Orb and RAMsinks. Seems pretty stable, and no artifacting.

I made the RAMsinks out of the old heatsink that came on the gpu, just cut it in half and epoxied them to the RAM chips, perfect size!

Is epoxy a thermal conductor?
