Editing Posts - my silly idea

My silly new way of identifying an edited post:

[list=a]
The first time we post or reply we shall simply and unofficially call this the "A" version.

The first edit shall change the footer to: "edit-B"

"edit-C"

"edit-98"

"edit-98 SE"

"edit-2000"

beyond this many edits we shall consider it a non-conformist and call it "edit-Linux"

I was getting ready to edit this message, but when I upgraded to edit b, my browser crashed. I found out that edit c had a fix for it, so I loaded it. Now my edit a files are all screwed up. Guess I will have to reformat the drive and do a clean instal of d.. or is it.. e?
