I'm (of course) planning on going the hardware decoding route in DVD movie playing. That means I have to buy a hardware decoder card, right? Right. The one I checked out is http://www.utobiadvd.com/dvd_motion_card.htm . What do I plug into it? It says with that card I can have Dolby Surround sound outputs. I already have an amplifier (which supports Dolby formats) and 4 home theater speakers hooked up to my computer.

I'm confused. What do I plug into the card?

Not sure if this is true, but you can get an ATI Expert 128, which has DVD hardware decoding on board.

just a thought.
