Creative no longer makes video cards??????

Just called creative for the Annihilator 2 and they told me they no longer make video cards???? When was this and where was I when this happened????
Boy I was looking foward to getting that card my heart is broken :-(

Guys at Creative told you so ? Can't be, Creative announced 3 new graphic card, one based on GF2MX400, second on GF2PRO, and finally GF3.
Of coz, some time must pass between announce 'till you can actually purchase the card, but Creative is still in, be sure to check later http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Of course they'll make vid cards... If they do stop making the vid cards then there goes a chunk of income.. Remember some of their sound cards don't work w/ the KT133A so there goes a large chunk... Their vid cards cost soooo much..

They do still continue to make videocards. I'm thinking you probley misunderstood the help desk guy or he messed up. He probely meant to say that they stopped production of the annihilator 2.

I called to order it and they said they dont make them. I was trying to find them in retail stores and online with no luck.
Call them and see what they tell you here's the number.

According to Maximum PC Magazine, Creative is "sitting on the fence" in regards to making a GeForce 3 based video card. I cannot seem to find any verifiable news one way or the other.
One thing is fishy/frightening (If you like Creative video cards) all the other competitors have announced GeForce 3 cards, Asus, Hercules, Elsa, etc. But Creative has NOT announced one yet...
I sure hope they do....
