I just purchased 2 Voodoo 2 accelerators; they run great in SLI mode along side my Radeon 64 MB DDR VIVO when using Direct3D. However, all I really wanted them for really was for Glide support. However, when I installed the last drivers released by 3dfx (my OS is WinMe) the Glide drivers were not installed successfully! When I use the search utility that is in the Voodoo2 control panel, it says that it finds no Glide drivers on my system yet the Glide .dll files were all copied to my system folder during installation. No games that support Glide see the Voodoo2's (except as a Direct3D device of course). Any ideas?!! Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Check if the card(s) is seated properly in the PCI slots. Once I had my V2 slightly off the slot, no Glide game worked, however, D3D worked just fine.

Hey, thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, I double checked both of my v2's and they are in just fine. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

Try unofficial (but good) drivers, first from here (http://tempest.xcl-clan.com/) and if these doesn't work then from here (http://barbarian.iwarp.com/sli/) ...

Once again, thanks ND. However, both of my Voodoo 2s are STB cards, so they are exact matches. Therefore, I don't see how those drivers would help me at all(?).

Copy the GLide .dll files to the particular game's directory. This should solve your rendering problem.

Good Luck,
