I have a Nvidia Vanta 3d (8 meg) AGP TNT card presently in my system, I also have an older PCI Diamond Monster 2 3dfx card not installed. Can I also use this in conjunction to upgrada a little since it takes the signal from the original video card?

You can try but I doubt it'll work, you can't use two of the same voodoo cards in SLI if they have differing framebuffers, e.g one is 8mb the others 12mb.So I seriously doubt you have any chance getting them to work in conjunction seeing as how completely different those cards are.

Dude, a nVidia Vanta is not a 3dfx voodoo2 card. The Vanta is a striped down Riva TNT card. That would be his 2d/3d card. Go ahead and put the v2 in there. It will run stuff that uses GLide. Its OGL driver is terrible. Direct X titles should be a bit faster

Yes, you can use the Voodoo2 card with the TNT2, and it should be a little faster in all games and much faster in Unreal based games.

I was simply using an example I didn't think he had two voodoo cards. I meant that if two of the same cards with just a different framebuffer won't SLI then how is it going to work with two different video processors. I never heard of something running a Voodoo2 card in conjuntion with an AGP card that's a Video accelerator itself,I would have figured there'd be a conflict. He said I have a Nvidia Vanta 3d (8 meg) AGP TNT card presently in my system, I also have an older PCI Diamond Monster 2 3dfx card not installed. Can I also use this in conjunction to upgrada a little since it takes the signal from the original video card? which implied he wanted them to work together in SLI.
