I'm looking at this course catalogue and it's pretty overwhelming! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif I really don’t have any direction yet. I’ve taken the tests before when I was younger, but I rigged it so I got the cool jobs with big cash.
Thanks in advance. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

This is the only generic one I could find.
Good luck- but don't put too much reliance into what someone else perceives as a good indication toy our path. Choose something you enjoy or would be interested in.

There's an IT aptitude test over at www.brainbench.com (http://www.brainbench.com)
Not astounding, but interesting nonetheless. It does take awhile though so be prepared.

You're looking for the type that will say "you should be a pilot but not a landscape architect" type of thing?
Right Scott...I need a pretty general one as I have no idea what I'd like to do.
Thanks for the link daveleau, I'll check it out right after I'm done typeing. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Joel, I'm pretty sure I'm not interested in IT. It kinda falls under my "porn star theory" which states never put yourself in a position where you're forced to do something that you do for fun. It's not a solid theory but holds true for a lot of things. Thank you anyway, and I will check it out...you never know! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Ok I'll look around. I haven't run across anything like that online. The jobsonline test is ok but very general.
Interesting theory http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif. I think I'd rather be doing what I like all the time than hating my job, though http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif.

Thanks, I've been looking and can't seam to find anything that's substantial that doesn't ask for credit card info.
As for my theory, haha.....A better way to explain it is that it's generally bad to combine work-related stress with a personal stress relieving activity...whatever that might be. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif However, likeing the work is a must.
