GeForce2 GTS - refresh rate

Hi,

I have the Asus V7700 and it does not seem that the refresh rate would go higher than 60Hz.

If I change the settings in the Adapter tab (display properties, settings tab, advanced icon, adapter tab) and choose for ex 1024x768x85, the monitor seems to modify its resolution but the display flickers. And it still looks like a 60Hz refresh rate.
My good old G400MAX looks way better than the GeForce !!! not good...

Any input greatly appreciated

PS: same problem under WinME and Win2000 (with latest drivers installed)

You certain that the monitor you have can handle beyond 60hz? If so, sure that the drivers for it are installed. The standard monitor probably won't do very high refrest rates.

Monitor is fine... it could go up to 1600x1200x75Hz with a G400 MAX
