Which Geforce 2 Mx

I plan to buy a video card based on the geforce 2 mx GPU. But what i want to know is which one (2 mx , 2 mx 200 or 2 mx 400/ SD or DD Sdram) is the fastest or best and which manufactures use which one in their video cards.

Both sharkeyextreme.com and firingsquad.com currently have reviews of the MX400 on their sites and include comparisons to the rest of the Geforce line as well as the Raedon.

From what I gather the MX400 doesn't offer an real performance gains over the standard MX.

I have a DDR Creative Annihalato2 Geforce2 MX card and have been very happy.

MX400 usually offers superiour performance over plain MX, but with todays situation, when nVIDIA gave almost free permission to all manufacturers to use whatever combination of chips/memory they want, situation became pretty complicated. Don't touch MX with DDR memory (Creative only), since plain cheaper SDR MX beats it (you will find the benches if you search few months back, maybe half a year ).
Generally, search for a card with chip clocked at 183 MHz and memory at 200 MHz (4.5-5ns chips). Such a card is available from Leadtek (http://www.leadtek.com.tw) , you can do more research on this issue if you like ...

Thanks guys, i have decided to go with the hercules prophet 2 mx (retail) since it comes with 5.5 ns memory, and the reviews are favourable. Also the difference between the mx 400 and mx are minimal (as mackdaddy mentioned) since the memory is the bottle neck and not the gpu freq.

Does anybody know if the prophet can handle high agp bus freq. (BX chipset MoBo overclocked above 100 FSB).
